Division Changes for 2022 Season

The Maumee Little League Board has analyzed the latest registration statistics and how it is impacting the number of teams in each division. In an effort to provide more balance and the best playing experience for all players, the board has modified the division structure for the upcoming 2022 season.

The following are changes to the age groups in each of the divisions and are effective today:

Division Ages
Tee-Ball 4 & 5
Coach Pitch 6 & 7
Modified Player Pitch 8 & 9
Majors 10, 11 & 12

Please note, there are no changes to the Senior Division.

Modified Player Pitch Division Notes:
Kids will Pitch to Kids.
No walks
No stealing of home
If a kid pitcher throws 4 balls to a batter, a coach will pitch to the batter until the batter puts a ball in play or reaches the 3rd strike in the at bat.
