Player Evaluation Day (Tryouts)
The Maumee Little League asks that if you are contacted about participating in the Player Evaluation Day that you make every attempt to attend. If your assigned time is a problem, please ask for a different time.

WHO
All players in these divisions; Minor (9/10), Major (11/12) or Junior (13/14).
WHEN & WHERE
Typically, the first weekend in March, parents will be contacted via phone with specifics of date, location and time.
WHAT
The evaluation is held indoors and will take no more than 30 minutes, the required gear for the evaluation is gym shoes and a ball glove, everything else is supplied. Each player attending the Player Evaluation Day will run a distance (which is timed), field a few ground/fly balls and hit a ball off a tee.
WHY
The purpose of the evaluation is to allow the Team Managers to get some idea of a player's skill level prior to the Player Draft (outlined below).

Player Draft
After the completion of the Player Evaluation Day (in the divisions listed) the Team Managers will meet and hold a Player Draft. Parents should hear from the Team Manager who drafted them within a week of the Player Draft.
All kids who are registered are drafted to a team.
